Travelling to or from SA with a minor?
(younger than 18 years old)
If you're travelling to or from South Africa with a minor (younger than 18 years old), you'll need to produce an Unabridged Birth Certificate for the child reflecting the particulars of both parents in addition to their passport (if you're travelling internationally).
Your kulula flight entitles you to one free checked bag weighing up to 20kg and one piece of hand baggage weighing up to 7kg plus a slimline laptop bag or small handbag.
Flying with pets
We no longer accept domestic pets and live animals at all our check-in counters (excluding service dogs which are permitted for check-in and in the cabin). The policy also applies to British Airways (operated by Comair) check-in counters and flights.
Flying with a Samsung Galaxy Note 7
The South African Civil Aviation Authority has made an official ban on Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices in the air. We urge you not to travel with this device.
The SACAA has ruled that customers may not transport the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in carry-on baggage, or in checked baggage, or on their person.
Let your wheels fly with you!
Cape Town Cycle Tour is coming up and we'd hate for you to miss out. We've streamlined the bike transport so it's less hassle and the same cost as last year. Book your bike with yourself and only pay R350 per bike.
Call 0861 KULULA (585852) to secure your place on the plane before the spots get filled up.
