general terms and conditions of use
The gift card terms and conditions displayed on the kulula.com website are effective from 1 April 2011 and applicable at the time of card redemption. These terms may be amended by kulula.com from time to time. To buy one, simply choose a kulula.com gift card at the retailer's in-store Gift card Mall and flash it to the cashier at the till point. Choose an amount you want to load for your gift and pay. kulula gift cards are available at a minimum value of R100 and a maximum value of R500 per card.
Your gift card is now loaded and ready to use by the recipient of your choice.
kulula gift cards are available for sale at specified kulula.com gift card retailers, refer to kulula.com gift card info page for details of retailers and locations.
The validity of the kulula.com gift card is 36 months from date of purchase.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide the value of the gift card to the recipient in the form of the till slip received from the retailer.
It is also the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the gift card pin number has not been scratched off prior to giving it to the recipient.
There is a note on the card 'Do not purchase if scratch-off is removed'.
If the recipient did not receive proof of value (till slip) or if it is misplaced or unknown, the gift card recipient may contact the kulula.com Contact Centre to verify the value of the gift card. The kulula.com Contact Centre has access to the value and any previous transaction history. kulula.com does not accept responsibility for any misuse of the card by any parties post date and time of purchase and the gift card value is non-disputable.
The kulula.com gift card may be used as payment or part payment for your kulula.com ticket or holiday package. Only 1 gift card per person per adult per booking may be redeemed for holiday packages. This excludes infants, as they do not occupy a seat.
Unused balances will be credited back to the gift card for further use when redeeming for kulula.com flights only.
The original expiry date will be applicable for any balance on the gift card.
The full value of the gift card must be used when redeeming kulula holiday packages.
kulula.com gift cards may be redeemed online at www.kulula.com, at the kulula.com Contact Centre on 0861 KULULA (585852) or at any kulula Ticket Counter location nationwide – for kulula.com flights only.
kulula.com gift cards may be redeemed for kulula holiday packages through our Contact Centre only on 0861 585 852 (select option 3).
kulula.com gift cards may be used in conjunction with other payments options:
- 'Non Cash payments' (loyalty currency and vouchers):
kulula moolah and or Discovery Miles; kulula Gift Vouchers (not limited in usage – for more info refer to the kulula.com Gift Vouchers Info Page)
- 'Cash Payments':
SID (Secure Instant Deposit = internet banking option) or Credit Card, EFT, bank deposit
The kulula.com gift card may not be exchanged for cash or credit.
A kulula.com gift card is not replaceable if lost, stolen or destroyed.
Upon purchase the user accepts all terms and conditions pertaining to travel with kulula.com which may be reviewed at www.kulula.com
