It’s an easier way to pay (or part pay) for flights - a travelbank account. It’s as good as having real cash and makes it easier for our kulula Contact Centre to send money or compensation your way. And there are no hidden agendas.

Only the kulula Contact Centre is able to credit this account so give us a call should you have a voucher. Travellers can combine a credit card payment with travelbank to pay for flight, travelbank can only be used for flights and taxes at this stage and unfortunately cannot be used towards the payment of any extras or changes.

To get a travelbank account, you’ll need to create a kulula ID, this helps us associate the credit to a person. A kulula ID will also make it easier to book a flight in just a few clicks. We’ll remember your details for you, so you just thave to remember a log in and password.

I was a jetsetter, what happened to the kulula moolah that I earned before the change happened?

Don't worry, you still have your kulula moolah to spend. We've moved your kulula moolah to your very own travelbank account. You have until 23 December 2012 to burn your already earned kulula moolah. Log in using the same username and password as always. We've done the hard work for you. Simply log in, choose a flight and pay or part pay using travelbank.

jetsetters now have a kulula ID, that means you can make a booking faster because we've saved all your details on the system, we can even save your credit card details.

pay or part pay for flights

We’re able to credit money into a travelbank account, this can be used to pay or part pay for your flights only. If you’ve received compensation from us, have a kulula eVoucher or gift card or if you’re a kulula credit cardholder and you’re earning kulula moolah. Your travelbank account can be used along with any credit card payment.

You are able to pay / part pay your Discovery Vitality flight booking using a travelbank account. That means your kulula moolah can be used towards a kulula flight.

Wow, someone loves you so much they bought you a kulula eVoucher or gift card. As from the 23rd June 2012, you’ll no longer be able to redeem these vouchers online, but not all is lost. The vouchers can still be used towards a flight with us, we just need to convert the credits to a travelbank account. If you don’t already have a travelbank account, create a kulula ID and give us a call. You’ll be booking your kulula flight in no time.

can we make it up to you?

If you’ve experienced a disruption on one of our flights or we’ve made a mistake, we try not to but it can happen from time to time. You would have received compensation from us. You’ll need a unique kulula ID if you’ve received a card at the airport or chatted to our Contact Centre and qualify for compensation. We can either create one for you or give us a call already armed with a kulula ID. The kulula team will create and credit a travelbank account for you. You’ll then be notified over email when your compensation has been deposited.

Steps to get compensated:

Voila - you got money in your travelbank!
