Project green

kulula fans helped raise a whopping R1 million to support Food and Trees for Africa (FTFA) efforts to address climate change and uplift disadvantaged communities throughout the country. The funds, which were donated to the award-winning social enterprise in December 2010, were raised through kulula’s Project Green. Kicked off in 2008, it aims to combat the atmospheric carbon loads and greenhouse gases.

Our latest donation helped this organisation plant 521 trees, planted in Boipatong, Gauteng Province on 6 November 2012. These trees will bring many benefits and years of pleasure to the residents and the environment.
