We remain in close contact with various industry partners, relevant regulators and health authorities to ensure that we abide by all regulations and remain responsible and proactive in preventing the Coronavirus from spreading.

Sanitising and Disinfecting our Aircraft

The cleanliness and sanitation of our aircraft is of utmost importance to us, for both our customers as well as our staff.

Our entire aircraft fleet is fitted with High-efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters which filter recirculated air onboard, removing airborne particles and providing customers with clean air inside our cabins.

All our aircraft have Universal Precautionary Kits and cleaning materials, as well as backup kits in the event that our staff need to deal with communicable diseases, which forms part of our crew training.

Maintenance of our Fleet during Lockdown

Safety is our number one priority, which we will never compromise.  Our safety record is internationally recognised and we maintain an IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration, ensuring the implementation of global best practices in managing our operational safety. In addition, we are also audited by British Airways Plc, as well as the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA).

During the lockdown period, our aircraft are currently securely parked and are being maintained as per the manufacturers and regulatory requirements and prior to commencing flights, the required maintenance and checks will be undertaken.
