Jo'burg – 3 July 2007. kulula.com, South Africa's leading low fare airline today announced a decision to amend the way fares are displayed on its website with effect from Wednesday 4 July 2007.
Fares and taxes will now be shown separately on kulula.com's booking pages. Gidon Novick, the airline's joint CEO elaborates; "To ensure that we remain true our brand promise of transparency we decided to separate the airfares and mandatory taxes levied by the Airports Company of South Africa and collected by us on their behalf."
kulula.com has, since launching in 2001, pioneered all–inclusive pricing thus ensuring that our customers are never surprised by hidden costs. The new method of display will still provide customers with an all-inclusive price. However it will also provide them with a better indication of where their hard-earned monies are being spent with regard to services rendered.
